Here’s an ultimate 3-day itinerary to help you make the most of your winter trip to Sisters.

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration

Morning: Arrival and Coffee

  • Arrival: Settle into your chosen accommodation in Sisters.

  • Coffee at Sisters Coffee Company: Start your day with a warm cup of coffee and a pastry at Sisters Coffee Company. The cozy atmosphere and locally roasted coffee are perfect for kicking off your adventure. You have to try one of their breakfast sandwiches!

Midday: Downtown Stroll and Lunch

  • Explore Downtown Sisters: Wander through the charming downtown area, exploring unique shops, art galleries, and boutiques. Don’t miss the  Hood Avenue Art Gallery.

  • Lunch at Open Door Wine Bar: Enjoy a delightful lunch at  Open Door Wine Bar, offering a variety of local wines and delicious food.

Afternoon: Outdoor Fun

  • Snowshoeing at Three Creek Lake: Rent snowshoes from  Eurosports and head to Three Creek Lake for a scenic snowshoeing adventure. The trails offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

Day 2: Outdoor Adventures

  • Kitchen & Cocktails: Treat your tastebuds to this amazing eatery, one of our favorites. Great selection of food that is sure to please anyone, and tons of drink options for you to enjoy at Sisters Depot!

Morning: Winter Hike

  • Hike at Black Butte: Begin your day with a winter hike at Black Butte. The trail offers panoramic views of the Cascade Mountains and is a moderate hike suitable for most fitness levels.

Midday: Lunch and Art

  • Lunch at Cottonwood Cafe: Enjoy a delicious farm-to-table meal at  Cottonwood Cafe, known for its fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Our favorite is the country fried steak. They put blue cheese on. It sounds weird, but it’s really good!

  • Visit the Fantastic Museum: A small Oregon museum with an eclectic history, this is one not to be missed.

Afternoon: Cultural Exploration

  • Visit the Sisters Movie House: Catch an afternoon matinee at the  Sisters Movie House. This small-town theater offers a unique movie-going experience with a cozy atmosphere.

  • The Fantastic Museum: You’ll love this quirky and fascinating little museum, with some amazing things to check out!

  • Dinner at Sisters Saloon: a delightful restaurant and saloon that puts a fresh spin on the old west!
