This is a great time for birdwatching and exploring the scenic trails as the landscape starts to bloom. Try hiking along the Peterson Ridge Trail for stunning views.
May - June
Spring transitions into early summer, with highs climbing to 65°F in May and 73°F in June. Rainfall is minimal, making it ideal for outdoor activities.
Late spring and early summer are perfect for fly fishing in the Metolius River and biking the McKenzie Pass Scenic Bikeway. The Sisters Farmers Market opens in June, offering local produce and crafts.
July - August
The summer months are warm and dry, with average highs around 83–85°F and lows in the mid-40s. Rain is rare, and sunshine is abundant, so it’s the perfect time to explore the surrounding area.
